Overview

The Internal Client Authentication API is available to our cloud-hosted apps to generate OAuth access tokens using OAuth2 client credentials grant type. OAuth 2.0 is the industry-standard protocol for authorization. OAuth2 are applicable for most of the RAKBANK Open APIs. This API only supports OAuth2.0 client credentials grant type for confidential partner applications where the requests would typically be initiated from a mobile or web application's backend server.
